Jose Velasquez
With over 15 years of bilingual (Spanish/English) experience in the legal field, Jose has successfully led negotiations for over $50 million in combined contracts and dispute settlements related to sales and purchase agreements, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, personal injury, intellectual property theft, employment disputes, real estate, commercial contracts, and debt collection.
While representing clients, Jose has acted as a Spanish translator/interpreter in English-speaking in settlement negotiations, mediation and arbitration disputes, ensuring clear communication and effective outcomes in multilingual settings.
In addition to his professional engagements, Jose is deeply committed to social responsibility. He provides pro bono support to charities in immigration matters, leveraging his legal expertise to assist those in need and advocating for vulnerable communities.
Jose studied Political Science and Law at Georgia State University and is a trained negotiator under the Program on Negotiation methodology from Harvard Law School.
